Certified Linguaskill: Linguaskill General and New Linguaskill Business

A new, adaptive, and user-friendly solution is available that has been developed by Cambridge and adheres to the rigorous standards of official language certifications – Certified Linguaskill, which includes the newly launched Linguaskill Business Certification.

New Linguaskill Business assesses candidates’ Business English proficiency and serves as an alternative to Business English Certificates in Switzerland. It grants students a certificate that is recognized in schools and educational institutions, as well as serves as evidence of their English language proficiency for career success.

New Business Linguaskill is currently under revision (2024) for the ALTE Q standardisation. We will keep you fully informed. In the meantime, do contact us for information.

Preparation Material and Sample Papers

Official preparation material and sample papers for New Linguaskill Business will be available from 2025. Please note that the purpose of the samples is to illustrate the range of tasks that candidates may encounter. They include material at a range of different CEFR levels and both Business Listening and Business Reading include some B1 level material.

The practice tests help you get comfortable with the format and layout of the test while also providing you with feedback on the responses you have entered. You can take these practice tests as many times as you like. Note: Linguaskill is an adaptive test that changes the questions based on your answers, to provide you with a score. Our practice tests are not adaptive – there are three tests available, at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Our examination centres, venues and schools throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is on demand, so please do not hesitate to contact us and request your date for your groups in your school or locally.
