New Certified Linguaskill: Linguaskill and Linguaskill Business

A new, adaptive, and user-friendly solution is available that has been developed by Cambridge and adheres to the rigorous standards of official language certifications – Certified Linguaskill, which includes the newly launched Linguaskill Business Certification.

Linguaskill is an online English exam that provides learners with a Cambridge certificate to prove their level of proficiency. It is aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), the international measure of language ability, and is used and trusted by organisations around the world. It can support you to take your next step in education or the job market.

It uses the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and computer-adaptive testing technology to provide a fast, flexible and personalised exam experience, motivating you to succeed. There are two versions; Linguaskill for general and academic English, and Linguaskill Business for business English.

Launch of the 1st new Linguaskill Business in Switzerland!

Preparation Material and Sample Papers

Official preparation material and sample papers for New Linguaskill Business will be available from 2025. Please note that the purpose of the samples is to illustrate the range of tasks that candidates may encounter. They include material at a range of different CEFR levels and both Business Listening and Business Reading include some B1 level material.

The practice tests help you get comfortable with the format and layout of the test while also providing you with feedback on the responses you have entered. You can take these practice tests as many times as you like. Note: Linguaskill is an adaptive test that changes the questions based on your answers, to provide you with a score. Our practice tests are not adaptive – there are three tests available, at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.
